You will be writing descriptions for a portion of the 155 breeds of dogs
recognized by the American Kennel Club. A breed description of about
600 words should take less than two hours to complete including
research time. A good deal of research material is online and will be
recommended to you. A breed description is comprised of seven sections. These
sections are: Temperament and Behavior, Physical Characteristics, Trainer's
Notes, Health, Popularity, Breed History, and Additional Information. In order
to maintain continuity of the information in each description, a list of
required topics will be provided for each section.

You will be responsible for the text description for each breed including a
link to the US Breed Club in the Additional Information section. You will not
be responsible for any photography or placing the photography in the
description. We will will supply you with an HTML template that provides the
formatting shown in the example. You will be responsible for entering your
description into the template.
We will pay $15.00 for each accepted breed description. This should result in
a minimum income of $7.50 per hour increasing to about $10.00 per hour as you
gain proficiency in utilizing the research materials. This assumes you have
basic knowledge of HTML and are familiar with and have access to an HTML
editor. Reasons we will refuse a breed description include plagiarism of
research material; an improperly formatted or incomplete description; or a
boring description. Your primary requirement is to describe the unique aspects
of each breed in an interesting and engaging manner.
Although the position does not require you to be in an office or any where else
at any specified time, we expect you to submit a minimum of five breed
descriptions per week. We will provide you with a beginning group of
breeds to research and will provide you with an additional breed for each breed
description we accept. It is anticipated all communication will be by email
although we will be happy to discuss any challenges you have by phone should the
need arise. You will be paid monthly via PayPal which offers you the advantage
of instantly receiving funds. If you require it, you can make a special request
for an alternative method of payment.
